Safety information 

This item is not a toy and should be placed in a safe location, out of reach of children, to prevent any potential harm.

Avoid hanging directly above a sleeping area.

 How to mount to the wall

-We recommend using a double-sided 3M tape to secure our products to the wall. for more rental friendly option, on our lighter product (animals or single wooden name) We recommend using a generous amount of Blu-Tack

-When ordering a name sign where not all the letters are connected, a stencil will be included to help you position perfectly to the wall. 

Material and Colour variation 

- Material variation: Please note that all our wooden products are crafted from 3mm thick plywood, and the colour may vary slightly between different cuts due to the natural material. 

-Please be aware that colours may appear differently on various screens and devices due to differences in display settings and technology. This means that the actual colour of your final product may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. 

- Laser cutting may leave slight burn marks on the side and back, where the double-sided tape is applied. This is a normal process and doesn't impact the product's quality. 

Product care 

- Handle with care: This item is delicate and requires gentle handling to avoid damage or disassembly. 

- Indoor use only: This item is designed for indoor display only and should not be exposed to outdoor elements. 

- Keep away from direct sunlight

Sizing limitation 

Due to the fixed size of our wood sheets, we may encounter limitations when cutting wider names (typically shorter names) The example in the link below displays the difference in length between longer name “Charlotte" and a shorter name “Kai”. In such cases, we will: - Cut the name as large as possible to fit the sheet - Price the piece accordingly, based on the actual size cut. Please be aware that this may affect the overall size of your custom piece.

Processing time 

Our current production time is 10 business days for all orders, allowing us to perform detailed quality checks and ensure your item meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. If we’re able to complete your order sooner, we certainly will!

Shipping fees & time 

Please keep in mind that shipping time is in addition to our current production time.

All parcels are shipped via Australia Post, and you can choose between Standard (7-14 days) or Express (1-3 days) shipping.

Kai & I Design is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit. Each item is thoroughly inspected before shipping to ensure quality and packed in a secure way. If your order is damaged during transit, we recommend contacting Australia Post to lodge a claim.

Rush orders 

If you're uncertain about timeframes or need your order for a special occasion, please contact us to discuss your needs, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Please be advised that Kai and I Design cannot guarantee timely delivery or availability for rush orders. We review each request on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to decline any rush order request without explanation.


Refunds and Returns

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

Please note that, due to the personalized nature of our products, we cannot provide refunds or exchanges on any custom-made items.

Incorrect spelling

Please double-check the spelling of the name when placing your order, as we do not offer refunds or exchanges for mistakes, including those caused by auto-correct. However, if the error is on our end, we will send a replacement via express post with the correct spelling.

Damaged items 

Kai & I Design is not responsible for any damage caused by mishandling or for items lost or damaged during postage. Each item is carefully inspected and quality-checked before shipping to ensure it meets our high standards. If your order has been damaged during transit, you may need to contact Australia Post to lodge a claim with them 

 

Gift cards

All gift cards are non-refundable and are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
